Children’s Pockets

Each child has a pocket at the entrance to preschool;  these are used as a form of communication between the centre and home.  In the pocket you will find accounts, newsletters, fundraising information, events and even birthday invitations.

Daily Records

Nappy records are kept in the bathroom, please check at the end of each day, and the sleep records are also placed in the bathroom at the end of each day.  Daily kai records are kept in the diary in the kitchen.  We keep records for 1 year of sleep time, nappy and kai.

Profile Books

These books are kept in the centre, this is an ongoing record of your child’s time at preschool, and you are required to provide the title page (paper is supplied by the centre, creativity is supplied by you) the cost of this book is $3.00 and a term fee of $10.00 towards the ongoing cost.

Birthdays

We encourage children to celebrate their birthdays at the centre alongside their friends.  Please feel free to bring in a birthday cake that will be shared at morning or afternoon tea.  If you have any queries or questions please ask a teacher.  Remember no cakes with nuts or traces of nuts.

Newsletter/Whiteboards

Newlsetters are produced regularly during the year as well as regular memos of updates of what is happening around the centre.  Whiteboards at the entrance are updated regularly with changes and reminders.  The newsletters and accounts are emailed to you if we have your address.
