Under Two’s

Our babies and toddlers have their own self-contained area including a sleep room, nappy changing area and a large covered porch.

We believe that relationships are paramount and that establishing a warm secure relationship with each child is vital in ensuring that they feel safe and develop a sense of belonging. We work closely with parents/caregivers to ensure that children’s individual needs, routines and interests are catered for.

We feel that children should experience an environment where they have the space and time to explore their world and make their own discoveries at their own pace. We provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can play, explore and learn.

Our daily programme includes free play and exploration, music and art experiences, messy play, mat-time and outdoor play. Our routines are flexible and guided by children’s individual needs and interests. Our babies and toddlers have the opportunity to join the older children in a mixed age setting. We believe this supports the ‘family feel’ of our centre and adds to the children’s rich learning and social opportunities.
